Every year we have to send Statutory Information such as the AGM pack to members. This year we aim to send as many of these required communications by email as we can.
Changing to e-communications will achieve 2 major goals: 1. Save money; we estimate that if you choose to receive these communications into your inbox instead of your post box – collectively we would save tens of thousands of euro in print and postage costs for St. Canice’s CU.
2. Save the environment; every member over the age of 16 has to receive these communications by law, each with an envelope, a letter, statement & accounts pack – imagine where most of them end up. We estimate that if you choose to receive these communications into your inbox instead of your post box - collectively we would save about 10 trees every year.
We are now sending secure emails & texts to members so you can make the choice to receive these types of communications electronically instead of in paper form. ... See MoreSee Less
