Join our upcycling competition designed to inspire creativity and promote sustainability among students. Show us how you can transform everyday items into something extraordinary!

Grand Prize: €1000 to support sustainability within your school community.
In addition, each winning individual or team member will receive a pair of Wireless Headphones (max value €200 per person).
Conditions of Entry
- Open to secondary school students within the St. Canice’s Credit Union areas.
- Entries can be individual or group (up to 3 participants).
- Upcycle at least one main item, using additional materials to enhance creativity.
- Submit a video showcasing the upcycling process, from start to finish.
- All work must be original. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
- Judging will be based on innovation, functionality, and overall transformation.
How to Apply
Submit a proposal outlining your project, including:
- Description of materials used.
- The purpose of the upcycled item.
- How the project promotes sustainability.
Proposals are due by October 11th.
Video Submission
Showcase your project in a video (max 90 seconds, portrait mode), including:
- An introduction to the project.
- Before and after footage of the item(s).
- A brief explanation of the upcycling process and the final product.
Video submissions are due by November 8th.
