James Stephens, nine time champions, secured their place in the St. Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling final in two weeks’ time when they beat Erin’s Own 1-15 to 2-9 in a hard fought semi final in Nowlan Park on Sunday.  A magic goal by Luke Scanlon in the 44th minute, just after Erin’s Own had drawn level was just what the Village needed to secure victory.
