European Bank Holiday Electronic Payments

Wednesday 1st May is the European Mayday Bank Holiday.
As this is a European bank holiday (although a normal banking day in Ireland), electronic payment files will not be processed on that day. Therefore, there will be no incoming files sent to credit unions on 1st May and any outgoing files forwarded by credit unions on that day will not be processed until the morning of the 2nd May.

Please bear this is mind for electronic transactions that anything done at the counter after mid morning on Tuesday 30th April will not be processed and will not settle in the destination accounts until Thursday 2nd May. This will be the same for funds that members are sending in electronically from their bank accounts to their credit union accounts. Transactions will resume as normal on Thursday 2nd May.
