St. Canice’s Credit Union Launches €100,000 Community Connect Fund

At St. Canice’s Credit Union, community is at the heart of everything we do. As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Community Connect Fund, a testament to our commitment to supporting and empowering local initiatives.

The Community Connect Fund is more than just a monetary contribution; it’s a catalyst for positive change within our community. With €100,000 allocated for 2024, we aim to fund capital projects that leave a lasting impact, addressing recognised needs and embodying the values we hold dear.

From sports clubs to social inclusion programs, healthcare initiatives to cultural endeavors, we welcome applications from organisations, clubs, and groups across our common bond area. Whether you’re local branch is in High St. Kilkenny, Bagenalstown, Callan, Piltown, Graiguenamanagh, Ballyragget, Durrow, Mountrath, or Rathdowney, this fund is here to support you.

Reflecting on past successes, Carmel Butler, our CEO, expressed her excitement about the potential of the Community Connect Fund:

“The last time we opened our Community Connect Fund, we were blown away by the caliber of applications we received. The dedication and innovation displayed by local groups truly underscore the strength of our community.”

As one of the largest community Credit Unions in Ireland, St. Canice’s is proud to support our members in more ways than one. From traditional banking services to community initiatives, our goal remains the same: improve the economic and social well-being of all members.

We encourage groups of all sizes and backgrounds to apply. Should you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Marketing Department at 056 7722042.

With the Community Connect Fund, together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community. We look forward to receiving your applications and witnessing the positive impact they’ll have on locally.

Best of luck to all who apply!
